| This thread takes place after 'Past The Point Of No Return'
It had been a little less than an hour before Derek had gotten his beating from Sky, which had severely injured him. Both mentally, and physically. He had barely gotten enough strength to sit himself up against the closest wall, after gaining consciousness. He was taking in slow, deep breaths, and his head was still bleeding. Sure, he was a werewolf, and he had 'healing abilities', but that didn't mean that he would be fully healed in a minute. He closed his eyes, and thought about what had just happened. He had lost Sky, and he was never getting her back.
His eyes shot open, as he heard someone. They weren't that close, but they weren't that far away either. He could hear them getting closer, and their scent seemed oddly familiar. Derek was in no shape to defend himself, so he just hoped it was someone who wasn't to attack him with part of his house.

Isaac had left the depot about an hour earlier to go for a run. Derek didn't seem to have the time or the will to train him lately, so he had to do some workouts by himself. His alpha hadn't been at the depot when he had left and he hadn't told him anything. Isaac came to a stop and bend over forward, putting his hands on his knees as he panted. He could see the old Hale house through the trees and decided to check if Derek had stopped by there. He wipes his face with his shirt and walks over to the ruined house. "Derek?", he calls and listens for an answer. "Derek, are you here?"

As a voice called out his name, Derek recognized it as his beta's. "Isaac?" You could he the exhaustion in his voice. He sighed. The front door to the house was open, and the light shone in from the sun. He glanced over at the stairway, where the banister was broken off. The images of Sky hitting him flashed through his mind, and he flinched a little. 'I guess some things will stay with me forever..' he thought, as he closed his eyes again. A small groan escaped his mouth.

Isaac frowned when he heard Derek's voice, it sounded weird, off somehow. He walked around the rooms, following his alpha's familiar smell and the sound of his breathing. The first thing he saw of Derek was his foot, showing in the doorway. Isaac became alarmed, seeing that Derek lay on the ground. "Derek?", the beta called out again and rushed to the werewolve's side when he saw that he was injured, kneeling down. "Derek, what happened?", he asked and looked at the older one's wounds.

Derek took in a deep breath. "It's a really.. really long story." He tried sitting up, but grunted in pain. Honestly, he had never felt this weak, and it embarrassed him, for his beta to see him like this. His eyes were still closed, he didn't want to look Isaac in the eye, because he knew they would be the deep red color. Which was because of how little control he had over his body at the moment. "I just need to get out of this god damn house."

Isaac frowned, but didn't say anything since he'd been keeping a lot from Derek recently, himself. He was determined to get the full story later though. He linked his arm with his alpha's to support him. "Do you think you can stand up and walk?", he asked as Derek seemed pretty roughed up and weak. He'd never seen him like this and was actually a bit comforted to know that he wasn't the only one who could be weak sometimes.

Derek shook his head. "That probably isn't the best idea right now, I'll just sit here until I get most of my strength back." He looked up at Isaac, and motioned for him to sit beside him. "How about we make a deal." he said in a serious tone. He wasn't really going to bargain with him, he just wants to know what's going on with him. As the alpha, he could sense something being wrong, or bothering, his beta, and it worried him, that he wasn't telling him everything.

Isaac sat down beside Derek, still feeling worried for his alpha. He wondered who could be strong enough to hurt a Derek Hale so badly, he could pass on meeting someone like that in a dark alley at night. He looked over at the other werewolf with a frown. "A deal? What do you mean?" he asked, genuinely confused. He looked at his hands and wondered if he could use his healing powers on another werewolf as well. Would what he did with the sick dog back at Deaton's clinic also work on Derek?

"What I mean is, " Derek cleared his throat, and took a deep breath. "If you tell me what the hell is going on with you, I'll explain what happened to me, and why." Suddenly, claws began to grow from his fingertips. With him being so weak, he didn't have much self-control. Therefore, he couldn't hold back, nor could he stop, the shift from happening. He leaned his head back against the wall, and his eyes flashed open, revealing the red color. His teeth were in canine form. Taking in another deep breath, he let out a loud, strained howl. Derek wasn't even controlling his actions, they were just.. happening. He closed his eyes again, squeezing them shut. He as in pain.. again. "What.." He said through clenched teeth. ".. the fuck just happened."

Riley was already thinking about whether to tell Derek about what was going on with him and if so how to tell his alpha, when Derek started turning. Isaac shuffled away from Derek, his heart beating fast as he was worried that he would go into full alpha form. He calmed down a bit as Derek seemed to relax. "What the hell was that? Are you okay?", Isaac asked looking worried.
