A Night Out (Lydia and Allison)

Allison smiled politely when the two boys walked over to them. She sat back as Lydia talked to them both noticing that one was watching her. She watched as Lydia flirted her way into free drinks and as the boys walked away she leaned across the table looking at Lydia. "You just have such a way with the boys dont you?" Allison teased as she winked at her friend.

Lydia looked over at Allison and smiled. "You just have to know how to work with what you have." she said, hinting at the fact that her shirt was pretty low cut. She giggled a little then glanced over at the bar, where the two boys were buying their drinks. "Plus..." she said, sitting up off the back of the booth and leaning on the table. "It's easier having someone else buy our drinks than trying our IDs again. I've seen some people thrown out of here."

Allison chuckled a little and nodded. "Yeah i'd rather not get thrown out of here or in trouble. Especially with my father." Alison rolled her eyes a little before sitting back against the booth. She looked towards the boys at the bar and smiled to herself. She had to admit, they were cute.

Lydia waited patiently as the boys began to walk back to the table with their drinks. She smiled at them as the neared the table and sat forward. As they placed the drinks on the table, Lydia reached for one, smiling and taking a sip. "Delicious." she said, after she had lasted the pink colored drink. She looked over at Allison and motioned for her to take a cup.

Allison watched as Lydia took a sip of her drink and motioned for her to try her own. She smiled at the boys as she took her cup and took a small sip. The drink was surprisingly good, Allison hadn't ever really drank before, Allison took another sip before placing the drink on the table in front of her and smiled at Lydia and the boys standing in front of their table. "Would you guys like to sit?" She asked them as she started to move over on the booth seat.

Lydia looked over at Allison in shock, wondering exactly why Allison all of the sudden felt comfortable enough to actually invite these boys to sit down with them. Lydia had just planned to take the drinks and come up with an excuse to leave. She moved over in the booth along with Allison, giving enough room for the boys to sit directly across from both of them. She smiled at Allison, still wondering what had changed in the past few minutes that made Allison comfortable with all of this.

Allison looked over at Lydia and smiled before looking at the boys sitting across from them. She grinned and took another sip of her drink before flashing her dimples and introducing herself. "Hi I'm Allison" she said before nudging Lydia and motioning for her to introduce herself to them.

Lydia winced a little as Allison's elbow dug into her side. She looked over at the boys and smiled. "And I'm Lydia." she said, holding her hand out across the table. "What are your names?" she asked, eyeing both of the boys and waiting for them to answer. They spoke over the music, saying that their names were Jason and Michael. She smiled again when they finished speaking and sat back in her chair.

Allison smiled as the boys introduced themselves and leaned back against the booth. She stared to chat with the boys, smiling and showing off her dimples. The boys turned to talk among themselves as Allison took a couple more sips of her drink and looked over at Lydia.

As the boys spoke to each other, Lydia leaned over and whispered in Allison's ear. "Alright, so..." she glanced over at the boys again then back at Allison. "Which one do you like? I'm a little partial to the one on my side, but I would be fine with either one." Lydia took one last look over at the boys and waited for Allison's response.

As she took another sip of her drink Allison's eyes widen and she choked a little. Allison placed her drink on the table and turned to face Lydia. Allison stuttered a little and smiled at Lydia a little embarrassed. "W-which one? Uh I don't really want either... I was just bring nice...You know I still love Scott right?" Allison raised her eyebrow as she waited for Lydia to reply. She was confused as to why Lydia would mistaken her politeness as flirting and wondered if the two boys sitting across from them did too. Allison hoped that they didn't, they were cute, yes, but she wasn't flirting with them, not in the least.

Lydia quirked her head to the side and looked at Allison, a little confused. She knew her and Scott were no longer together, so she didn't understand what the harm in flirting with a few cute guys at a club was. "Allison, you look like I just told you to shoot your grandma. A little shameless flirting isn't going to hurt anyone." she said, a smile coming across her face. "And who knows." She leaned in a little closer to Allison and whispered. "You might actually like one of them."

Allison leaned back against the booth as Lydia spoke to her. Allison agreed, a little flirting wouldn't hurt, but she didn't know if she wanted to even do that much. She didn't want to lead these guys on at all. Allison sighed as she looked back across the table at the guys. "I just don't want them to be lead on or anything to happen Lydia... Plus we don't even know how old they are." Allison turned her head to look at Lydia again and shrugged her shoulders.

Lydia glanced over at the boys, who were still involved in conversation. She brushed some of her hair behind her ear and looked back over at Allison. "look," she said, turning her whole body to face her friend. "They aren't going to see us, recognize us, or even remember us after tonight. Trust me. And who cares how old they are, they are hot and we aren't leaving the club with them or anything so we don't have to worry about that anyway." Lydia looked over Allison's face and turned her body forward again. Noticing Allison's vacant expression, Lydia nudged her side and smiled. "And don't frown Allison. Someone could be falling in love with your smile."

As Lydia turned to face her Allison shrugged a little and sighed. Lydia was right though, why not let loose a little. It couldn't hurt. Allison smiled and nodded. "You're right Lyds, it's just for tonight. Leaning her elbows on the table Allison whispered to Lydia. "So which one is whose?" Chuckling lightly Allison picked up her drink and took a sip.

Lydia smiled and glanced over at the two boys, trying to decide which one she liked better. "I guess we could just go with the ones that are directly across from each of us. They are both equally cute." she said, giggling a bit and looking over at the boys again.

Allison chuckled and nodded at her friend before she smiled wide. "Deal." Allison smiled at the boy across from her and took a couple more sips of her drink before leaning across the table to break up the boys conversation.

Lydia smiled over at the boy across she her, grabbing her drink and engaging a conversation. She smiled and giggled at every joke he said, although most of them weren't funny at all. But, she knew how to impress people, and telling them that they weren't funny was definitely not on the list. As she finished her drink, the boy in front of her offered to go get her another one. She smiled and accepted his offer, watching him leave the table. She looked over at Allison, making sure she was enjoying herself, then reached into her purse to get her mirror, making sure she still looked presentable.

Allison smiled as she talked to the boy across the table from her. He was actually pretty interesting and funny. Allison chuckled as he told her a joke and then snuck a peek over at Lydia. The boy she was with had gone to get her another drink and she took the time to check her appearance in her pocket mirror. Allison turned back to the guy and smiled wide at him revealing her dimples.

Lydia waited patiently for her 'date' to return with her drink. Finally deciding that she looked as perfect as she could look, she placed the mirror back in her pocket and smiled over at Allison, watching her actually enjoying talking to the boy across from her. Her 'date' finally returning, she leaned over the table and grabbed her drink from him, taking a sip and smiling at him.

As she continued talking to the boy she was with Allison was a little taken back when he asked her to dance. Allison hadn't danced that much but she didn't want to decline and be a party pooper. Allison turned to look at Lydia and her boy. "Do you guys want to dance too?" Allison smiled a little before drinking the rest of her drink.

Lydia smiled and looked across the table at the boy, asking him if he wanted to dance. When he agreed, she smiled at him and stood up, smiling over at Allison and giggling. She hadn't danced in a long time, even though she loved it.

Allison moved across the booth and stood up fixing her skirt a little. She smiled at Lydia lightly as she waited for the boy she was with to stand up. Allison had been trying to remember the boys name for a while now and finally it popped in her head. 'Jason!' She thought to herself. Allison grinned at Jason before taking his hand and walking towards the dance floor.

Lydia smiled and took her dates hand. "Are you a good dancer, Michael?" she asked, sounding as flirtatious as possible. She allowed him to lead her onto the dance floor and took a few moments to get used to the beat of the song that was playing. Once she got it down, she began to dance with him, allowing her body to move and sway to the beat.

Smiling at Jason, Allison looked up at him as they got to the dance floor. She hadn't realized just how tall he had been while they were sitting down. As they both started to dance to the song beat Allison's smile widen and she started to laugh. She was really having a great time. 'I'll have to remind myself to thank Lydia for this later' She thought to herself as she moved to the beat of the song that was playing at full volume in the crowded club.
