The New Girl in Town (Open)

Nell's father had practically forced his daughter to throw a party at their place. He wanted his daughter to make new friends and be happy, he said. He'd even made some flyers for her to hand out at school, but she'd thrown them away because she didn't want to seem like a needy nerd. She'd posted an announcement on Facebook instead and she'd sent texts to Stiles and Allison, inviting them and their friends. Now she was sitting in her living room, music playing and snacks and drinks standing on the dining table, ready for her guests. She hoped desperately that people were coming, it would be so embarrassing if noone showed up.

Stiles knocked on Nell's door and stood outside awkwardly. He knew that she was having a party and he really liked the girl so he wanted to be there. He really did. He just hoped that some other people would come as well. If not, then I guess it was just them.
